CHCS Services Inc. will be running provider discount and caregiver support programs for John Hancock Long Term Care Insurance.
CHCS, Pensacola, Fla., will supply prenegotiated LTC provider rates and LTC provider quality information, according to Hancock, Boston, a subsidiary of Manulife Financial Inc., Toronto.
CHCS also will run a Hancock caregiver support website. Site tools will help users evaluate caregivers, maintain their own health, and get information about managing LTC needs, Hancock says.
The caregiver support program already is included in Hancock’s Leading Edge and Custom Care II Enhanced LTC products. Hancock plans to build the program into new group LTC products that will be introduced later this year.
