The Federal Reserve Bank of New York is offering easier access to information about companies it set up to manage some of the assets of two troubled financial services giants.

The New York Fed created Maiden Lane L.L.C. to handle the assets of Bear Stearns Companies Inc., New York, and Maiden Lane II L.L.C. and Maiden Lane III L.L.C. to handle the assets of American International Group Inc., New York.

The New York Fed has started posting a collection of documents concerning the limited liability companies, including 2008 annual reports, here.
