The founder of the American Association for Long Term Care Insurance has launched a new trade organization for financial professionals marketing critical illness insurance.

The new organization, the American Association for Critical Illness Insurance, Los Angeles, will start by helping financial and insurance professionals get into selling CI insurance.

Jesse Slome, the founder of the AACII, is founder and executive director of the AALTCI.

Slome also serves on the board of the National Association for Critical Illness Insurance, a group that already serves as a voice for insurers and others with an interest in the CI market.

The AACII will work closely with the National Association for Critical Illness Insurance, Slome says.
