Noyce To Leave FBL

James Hohmann is taking over as interim chief executive officer of FBL Financial Group Inc.

Hohmann is succeeding James Noyce, who is leaving FBL, according to FBL, West Des Moines, Iowa.

Noyce has been CEO of FBL since 2007, and he was the chief financial officer of the company from 1995 to 2007. He has worked for FBL for 24 years.

Hohmann, 53, previously was president of Allstate Financial, a unit of Allstate Corp., Northbrook, Ill. Hohmann also has been president of Conseco Inc., Carmel, Ind.

Hohmann has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Northwestern University and a master’s degree in business from the University of Chicago. He is a fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a past member of the board of the American Council of Life Insurers, Washington.
