Assurant Employee Benefits will be giving 15 students with disabilities a chance to spend a day accompanying company employees around the office.
Assurant Employee Benefits, Kansas City, Mo., a unit of Assurant Inc., New York, organized the program together with the Rehabilitation Institute of Kansas City, Mo.
The Rehabilitation Institute works with local school districts to provide career exploration and planning activities for high school students with disabilities. Some of the students who will be visiting Assurant have physical disabilities, and some have developmental and learning disabilities.
