New York Life Insurance Company has promoted Chris Blunt and Mark Pfaff to executive vice president.
New York Life Insurance Company has promoted Chris Blunt and Mark Pfaff to executive vice president.
Blunt, who previously was a senior vice president, is responsible for retirement income security.
Pfaff, who also was a senior vice presidents, over sees U.S. life insurance and agency.
Blunt has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree in business from the University of Pennsylvania.
Pfaff has an associate’s degree from Westchester Community College and a bachelor’s degree from Manhattan College.
In related news, New York Life International L.L.C., New York Life’s international unit, has hired Danny Lam to be chief executive officer for New York Life Insurance Taiwan Corp. He previously was executive vice president, marketing and agency, at ING Life Taiwan, a unit of ING Groep N.V., Amsterdam.
Lam has a degree in mathematics from the University of Hong Kong. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.
