Employers and others are desperately seeking advice about how to comply with the new Children’s Health Insurance Program Reauthorization Act reporting rules.

The rules are supposed to take effect April, but specific advice about how to comply with the CHIPRA reporting rules for employers is scarce.

Employers will face new CHIPRA requirements in states where children’s health insurance programs provide subsidies for eligible families’ group health premiums.

Press representatives at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid have not responded to calls and electronic-mail messages seeking information about the CHIPRA model notices that CMS has been developing.

We are trying to get more information about notice rule compliance and hope to post it in the Breaking News section by the end of the week.
