An insurer has asked a Canadian company to help it develop a Web-based rating and quotation system for group dental, disability and life products.
Fort Dearborn Life Insurance Company, a unit of Health Care Service Corp., Chicago, already has started working with IQX Inc., Ottawa, Ontario, according to IQX.
IQX hopes to complete work on the project in 2010.
Fort Dearborn Life commissioned the project to improve reporting capabilities and gain the ability to quote all company group insurance products through one system, the company says.
