A health price database company says it wants to publish more information about its methods.
Ingenix, a unit of UnitedHealth Group Inc., Minnetonka, Minn., says it has published its market-leading Episode Treatment Groups health care measurement methodology for public review and input, to help health policymakers create programs that reward doctors and hospitals for providing efficient, high-quality care.
"Ingenix plans to make additional leading measurement methodologies transparent and available for review in the coming months," the company says.
