A health insurer has cut the ribbon on a 37,000-square-foot care coordination center.
Humana Inc., Louisville, Ky., has built the Humana Cares national service center in St. Petersburg, Fla.
The center now employs 275 people and is expected to employ 325 people by the end of the year, Humana says.
Center employees will provide, telephonic health coaching, care management, health education and health support services for 30,000 Humana Medicare plan enrollees and other Humana plan enrollees who are coping with health problems, such as cancer, heart failure and kidney disease.
