A Midwestern state will be letting consumers and agents handle more tasks through the Internet.

The Wisconsin Office of the Commissioner of Insurance now will let consumers file insurance complaints directly through the Web, officials say.

Before, consumers could get complaint forms through the Web but had to fax or mail the completed complaints to the OCI’s office.

The Wisconsin OCI also will let agents who renew licenses electronically to print their own licenses at no additional charge within 30 days of renewing a license.

Agents also will continue to receive licenses from the OCI, officials say.
