Midland National Reorganizes Managerial Group

A Midwestern insurer is expanding and realigning its personal producing general agent/regional director sales team.

Midland National Life, Sioux Falls, S.D., a unit of Sammons Enterprises Inc., Dallas, says it is hoping the changes will increase life sales.

The new structure will be under the joint leadership of

Jerry Blair, who has been sales vice president for Midland National’s Eastern Division, and Jeff Wilson, who has been sales vice president for the Western Division, will run the new distribution management structure.

Blair and Wilson will lead a team of sales vice presidents, regional sales directors and associate regional sales directors.

Blair will be the divisional vice president of the Eastern Division, and Wilson will be the divisional vice president of the Western Division.

The executives will work on strengthening the existing distribution team and expanding the number of RSDs and ARSDs.
