An annuity order support services firm says the number of transactions its compliance system processed rose sharply in 2008.
Blue Frog Solutions Inc., Pompano Beach, Fla., says its AFFIRM for Annuities Order Entry System handled about $4.6 billion in annuity premiums in 2008, up from about $1 billion in 2007.
The AFFIRM for Annuities system integrates an insurer’s product rules with a distributor’s compliance processing system in an effort to verify that transactions are in good order.
