The Securities and Exchange Commission website has just published Release 33-8996. This is the full Final Release on the SEC Commission’s December 2008 decision to adopt new Rule 151A of the Securities Act of 1933, defining indexed annuities as securities. The release is dated January 8, 2008. Click here to see the entire Release.
