The Financial Planning Association has released checklists that can help financial planners comply with the new CFP Board Standards of Conduct.

The FPA, Denver, says the new checklists will help holders of the Certified Financial Planner designation implement the standards, which take effect Jan. 1, 2009.

The checklists cover a half-dozen different transaction scenarios and an initial financial planning engagement, the FPA says.
