The health policy team set up by President-elect Barack Obama is asking for members of the public to post health care system comments now.

The team has posted a video presenting a brief introduction by 2 team members, Dr. Dora Hughes and Lauren Aronson.

Hughes, a physician who is board-certified in internal medicine, has been deputy director for health at the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions.

Aronson, the daughter of a forensic psychologist, has been a legislative analyst at Jennings Policy Strategies Inc., Washington, a health policy firm founded by Christopher Jennings, who worked as a senior health policy advisor in the Clinton administration.

Hughes and Aronson say they are trying out an instant feedback feature on the transition team Web site for this first time and hope it will help members of the public form their own discussion communities.

The transition team question now posted on the Web site is, “What worries you most about the health care system in our country?”

“All viewpoints are welcome,” transition team officials say in the site comment policy. “But comments should remain on the topic set by the original blog post, discussion question or other type of initial entry.”
