FRC: Financial Marketing Budgets May Shrink

The economic crisis will hurt many financial services companies’ marketing budgets, consultants predict.

Roughly two-thirds of investment management company marketing executives surveyed expect 2009 marketing budget cuts of 10% to 20%, according to SwanDog Strategic Marketing L.L.C., Chicago, and Financial Research Corp., Boston.

The other third are forecasting cuts of more than 20%, SwanDog and FRC report.
