Hartford Unveils Employer Markets Details

A financial services company is giving more information about how it will go about selling retirement services and other employee benefits to employers.

Hartford Financial Services Group Inc., Hartford, put James Davey in charge of a new employer markets group in May.

Jamie Ohl, a Hartford senior vice president, will lead the retirement plans group, according to Davey.

Ohl has been in charge of product development and business retention,

Ron Gendreau, an executive vice president, will continue to lead the group benefits division, and Marty Swanson, vice president and chief marketing officer, will lead marketing for both group benefits and retirement plans.

Harry Monti, a senior vice president, will be responsible for leading operations and service for the employer markets group.

Monti also will be in charge of integrating recently acquired retirement product operations, such as the U.S. defined contribution plan record keeping arm of Sun Life Financial Inc., Toronto.
