American Equity, West Des Moines, Iowa, reports that Noble, who founded the company in 1995, will continue to be the chairman.
John Matovina, who has been the vice chairman of the company, will continue to be a vice chairman and will also be the treasurer and chief financial officer.
Wendy Carlson, who has been chief financial officer and general counsel, will become chief executive officer and president.
Carlson is a lawyer and also holds the Certified Public Accountant professional designation.
At American Equity Investment Life Insurance Company, American Equity’s main life insurance operating subsidiary, Ron Grensteiner will take over from Kevin Wingert as president.
Wingert will form a national marketing organization that will market American Equity Life products through a new agency force that he will create, according to American Equity.
Grensteiner, one of the founders of American Equity Life’s marketing department, has been senior vice president of marketing at the life company since 1996.
Debra Richardson, who has been senior vice president at American Equity and American Equity Life, will become chief administrative officer and executive vice president at American Equity Life, American Equity says.
