An accreditation group is going ahead with efforts to evaluate programs that promote healthy lifestyles and help participants manage chronic health problems.
URAC, Washington, says its board has approved the standards and measures for a new Comprehensive Wellness Accreditation program.
The program includes measures for assessment of health risks, interventions, evaluation of participant progress, integration with other plans and programs, and efforts to report performance to customers and members of the public.
