An annuity technology company has agreed to use a system from an electronic signature company.
EbixExchange, Herndon, Va., the unit of Ebix Inc., Atlanta, that runs the AnnuityNet systems, says it will work with SIGNiX Inc., Chattanooga, Tenn., to set up an annuity transaction “esignature” pilot program.
SIGNiX runs an electronic signature system through the Web.
The system gives users the ability to electronically and legally sign documents on the Internet, on the telephone or face to face, by authenticating individuals online, SIGNiX says.
