AIG Units Launch Disability Program

AIG Employee Benefit Solutions Inc. has introduced a new version of its group disability policy.

The policy is underwritten by AIG Life Insurance Company and American International Life Assurance Company of New York.

AIG Employee Benefit, AIG Life and American International Life all are subsidiaries of American International Group Inc., New York.

The re-launched product now includes an employee assistance program from Harris Rothenberg International L.L.C., New York, and Family Medical Leave Act administration services.

The product also includes an in-house disability claim operation to streamline claims processing, according to AIG Employee Benefit.

The EAP and a work-life program will be offered to employer-funded long-term disability groups of 10 or more.

The FMLA administration services will be offered to groups of 100 or more.
