UnitedHealth Launches Consulting Brand

An affiliate of a managed care giant has created a new identity for its health consulting business.

UnitedHealth Group Inc., Minnetonka, Minn., is putting its Reden & Anders and Healthia Consulting businesses in a new Ingenix Consulting unit.

The health care and human services consulting unit will serve insurers and other payers as well as providers and government agencies, UnitedHealth says.

The unit starts with about 1,000 staffers and business relationships with about 300 health plans and large employers.
