A trade organization and a consumer money magazine will offer a long term care insurance hotline to consumers next week.
Kiplinger’s Personal Finance Magazine, Washington, and the American Association for Long Term Care Insurance, Westlake Village, Calif., will offer 2 “Long Term Care Phone-In Days” on Thursday, Nov. 13 and Friday, Nov. 21. The events will run from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. EST.
Noting that unanticipated long term care costs can threaten a family’s wealth, the organizations are offering the help of experts to advise consumers on LTC planning and insurance. AALTCI members will be on hand to answer callers’ questions.
Consumers can take part in the phone-ins by dialing toll-free 877-547-8471.
