New Marketing Chief at Putnam

Putnam Investments’ president and CEO, Robert Reynolds, announced the naming of Jeffrey Carney as a Putnam managing director and head of global marketing and products. The appointment is effective October 27.

Carney joins Putnam from Bank of America where he was president, Bank of America Retirement and Global Wealth & Investment Management Client Solutions. In his new role, Carney will be responsible for Putnam’s defined contribution business, global product management, public and government relations, global marketing, and marketing communications efforts.
