MetLife Posts Annuity Tool

An insurer has created a Web site to show consumers that including annuities in their retirement arrangements could increase their retirement income.

The insurer, a unit of MetLife Inc., New York, says the site includes a calculator that illustrates the potential effects of annuity guarantees on income streams.
