The growing interest in life settlements helped results at Life-Exchange Inc. during the company’s latest fiscal year, which ended June 30.
Here is a summary of the company’s earnings report:

Fiscal 2008 Results
NET INCOME: $376,469
REVENUE: $1.3 million
Fiscal 2007 Results
NET INCOME: $711,043 loss
REVENUE: $172,206
- Life-Exchange operates a Web-based life settlement exchange. The company expects the life settlement market to do well in the coming year as investors seek safe havens and consumers decide to sell policies to raise cash, according to Life-Exchange President David Dorr.
