Robelynn Abadie has succeeded Thomas Vander Wal as president of the Association of Health Insurance Advisors.
AHIA, Falls Church, Va., is the health and employee benefits arm of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.
Abadie owns Abadie Financial Services Inc., Baton Rouge, La.
Other 2008-2009 AHIA officers include William Foudy, president-elect; Vander Wal, immediate past president; Michael Brown, secretary; and H. Larry Fortenberry, treasurer.
