A subsidiary of a large managed care company is introducing a pair of new ancillary benefits products in 6 more states.
Golden Rule Insurance Company, Indianapolis, a unit of UnitedHealth Group Inc., Minnetonka, Minn., says it now is selling the Dental Premier plan, which offers more coverage for out-of-network care, and the Dental Value plan, which strongly promotes use of in-network care, in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Kansas, Missouri and Ohio.
Consumers in those states can buy the plan coverage on a stand-alone basis.
Consumers now can buy the plan coverage in conjunction with Golden Rule health coverage in 20 states and the District of Columbia, Golden Rule says.
