National Planning Holdings Inc. has launched the Web-based Advisor Solutions system.

The portfolio management and reporting system can help financial professionals set up advisory programs within their practices, according to NPH, Santa Monica, Calif.

NPH is an independent broker-dealer network arm of Jackson National Life Insurance Company, Lansing, Mich., which is, in turn, a unit of Prudential P.L.C., London.

NPH says it will be offering the Advisor Solutions system to all advisors affiliated with NPH.

Advisors can use the system to create model portfolios and assign clients to the appropriate model based on risk tolerance, NPH says.

Advisors can build models using several different techniques, and they can create models of their own that are not tied to specific asset-allocation constraints, NPH says.
