Organizers of the Quick Life joint venture say it can help consumers, financial professionals and insurers speed up the processing of life insurance sales.

The joint venture, operated by Life Insurance Center L.L.C., Denver, offers assistance with quoting, application processing and policy delivery.

Once life insurance producers use the Quick Life Web site to register an application, the Quick Life service can handle pre-sale rating and quoting services, electronic applications, electronic signatures, collection of additional or missing applicant information, application processing, case management, underwriting review, policy accuracy review, and policy delivery, organizers say.

Pat Wedeking, president of the Life Insurance Direct Marketing Association, Woodstock, Ga., is the president of Quick Link.

Companies involved in starting Quick Link include the Leaders Group Inc., Littleton, Colo., a broker-dealer; InsuranceOnly Inc., Denver, a life brokerage general agency; Realtime Solutions Group L.L.C., Woodridge, Ill., an insurance processing technology company; and Hales and Company Inc., New York, an investment bank.
