CIGNA Voluntary has introduced the Starbridge Advanced Medical Plans limited-benefit health plan program.

CIGNA Voluntary, Phoenix, an arm of CIGNA Corp., Philadelphia, is marketing the new plan as an option for filling in health coverage gaps for restaurant managers, new white-collar employees, and other employees who earn about $12 to $18 per hour but lack employer-paid major medical coverage.

Employers must help pay for the coverage, which offers access to the CIGNA preferred provider network.

To qualify for the plan, employers should have 200 or more eligible employees, CIGNA Voluntary says.
