David Gentry is the new president of the Florida Association of Health Underwriters.
Gentry, president of Fringe Benefit Plans Inc., Winter Park, Fla., has succeeded Stephanie Denz.
Gentry says he will push for new tax credits, fight new health coverage mandates, and work to promote the importance of long term care insurance.
Other 2008-2009 officers of FAHU, Altamonte Springs, Fla., include Julian Lago, president-elect; Jennifer Wenke, secretary; Barbara Rennard; treasurer; and Kimberly Auclair, vice president.
