Physicians Mutual Names Rob Reed Chief Operating Officer

The Board of Directors of Physicians Mutual and Physicians Life Insurance companies, Omaha, Neb., has named Rob Reed Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of the companies. Most recently he was Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President. Reed has also been a member of the Board of Directors since 2005.

Reed started with the company full-time in 1989. He has held various positions in the company’s financial, marketing, government relations and customer areas. Reed graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgetown University. He also holds a Master of Management degree from the J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
