A Mid-Atlantic managed care has come out with a new account-based group plan product.
AmeriHealth New Jersey, Mount Laurel, N.J., a unit of Independence Blue Cross, Philadelphia, will be working with IncentOne, Lyndhurst, N.J., to run a new AmeriHealth Healthy Lifestyles Rewards program.
The program combines a health reimbursement account program and a wellness program that can generate HRA credits, according to AmeriHealth.
Group plan members can get HRA credits for actions such as completing a personal health profile or visiting a primary care physician for a checkup, AmeriHealth says.
