Ameritas has put the SoundCare hearing health plan on its group benefits menu.
Covered benefits include hearing exams, hearing aids and hearing aid maintenance, according to Ameritas, a unit of UNIFI Mutual Holding Company, Lincoln, Neb.

The program includes discounts on hearing aids from Ear Professionals International Corp., City of Industry, Calif., and access to the EPIC network of ear care providers.
Employer groups in most states can buy SoundCare by itself or combine it with other benefits, Ameritas says.
