Hawaii Blue To Bring Doctors Onto Web

Hawaii Medical Service Association has agreed to use the Online Healthcare Marketplace system from American Well Corp.

Hawaii Medical, Honolulu, which holds the Blue Cross and Blue Shield licenses for Hawaii, can use the system to help doctors offer online and telephone consultations through the Web, according to American Well, Boston.

Web and telephone consultations will be available to Hawaii residents who are not Hawaii Blue members as well as to the carrier’s own customers, American Well says.
