An insurance software company is scooping up a company that sells Web-based producer licensing systems to state insurance regulatory agencies.
Vertafore Inc., Bothell, Wash., says it has agreed to acquire Sircon Corp., Okemos, Mich.
The price of the deal was not immediately available.
The companies hope to complete the deal by July 30.
“Sircon complements Vertafore’s current solutions, and [Vertafore's] strong presence in the agency and broker markets will drive producer adoption,” says Robert Nero, president of Sircon.
