American Worker Plans Inc. is upgrading the benefits included with its limited-benefit health coverage.
American Worker, South Barrington, Ill., says the plans now will cover physician consultations obtained over the telephone through TelaDoc Inc., Dallas.
The plans also will cover services obtained from retail walk-in medical clinics, American Worker says.
American Worker sells limited-benefit health plans underwritten by a unit of Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company, Columbus, Ohio.
