A software giant has come up with aids aimed at the insurance industry.
Microsoft Corp., Redmond, Mich., has released the Microsoft Insurance Value Chain Software Factory for ACORD Standards.
The “IVC Software Factory” is a free set of development tools, samples and white papers that can help life insurers, annuity manufacturers and other insurers use the Microsoft Insurance Value Chain Framework system, Microsoft says.
The new tools can help insurers mesh the Microsoft .NET Framework standards with the Web services standards developed by ACORD Corp., Pearl River, N.Y.
