Michael Corry is the new president of the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting.
Corry, an executive benefits consultant in St. Louis, will succeed Lawrence Raymond as the president of the AALU, Falls Church, Va.
Corry says he wants to make “AALU more member-centric, increasing the membership base, and encouraging more member involvement,” according to the AALU.
Other 2008-2009 officers include Raymond, Bingham Farms, Mich., immediate past president; Robert Carter, Austin, Texas, president-elect; Nathan Perlmutter, Rego Park, N.Y., vice president and treasurer; and Forrest Surles, Houston, secretary.
