New York Life Insurance Company announced that John Kim has been named president and CEO of its investment management arm, New York Life Investment Management (NYLIM). Kim was most recently president of Prudential Retirement.

Daniel McMahon joined Raymond James Financial as senior managing director of equity trading and will partner with Louis Parks to direct the firm’s U.S. equities trading business. Most recently, McMahon headed the U.S. equities trading desk at CIBC World Markets in New York.

Rydex Investments announced that John Sessler will assume the role of managing director for Rydex’s institutional business.

Frank Campanale was named chairman and CEO of the Wealth Management division of Advanced Equities Financial Corp. He was most recently chairman and CEO of Campanale Consulting Group and one of the founding members and is the current chairman of the Money Management Institute.

Pioneer Investments announced that Mark Bradley has been named treasurer, effective March 1.

James Bullard was appointed president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis by the bank’s board of directors. Bullard assumed his new position on April 1, succeeding William Poole, who served in the position for 10 years.
