A Midwestern insurer has chosen an outside company to handle some software development and maintenance services.
Conseco Inc., Carmel, Ind., has awarded Infosys Technologies Ltd., Bangalore, India, a 5-year contract to support new business, policy administration, claims, audit management, marketing and agent compensation system.
Conseco will be centralizing the support, maintenance and development of the applications with Infosys, Infosys says.
Conseco has a South Asian unit of its own, Conseco India Data Services, that provides support services for other Conseco systems, Conseco says.
