UL portfolio makes debut

Columbus Life Insurance Co. decided to make its introduction of universal life policies memorable by launching three products instead of just one. Under the umbrella of the UL portfolio are three products: Explorer Plus, Indexed Explorer Plus and Voyager.

Explorer Plus is a long-term cash-value accumulation vehicle that combines death benefit protection with optional riders and benefits. It can be customized to help clients with their wealth transfer and business planning needs, especially where retirement income is important. Indexed Explorer Plus offers the potential to earn indexed interest credits that are linked, in part, to the Standard & Poor’s 500 Composite Stock Price Index (excluding dividends) or the S&P 500. The policy offers downside protection through a minimum interest rate guarantee.

Voyager is the solution for people who need low premium guaranteed death benefit protection for business planning, wealth transfer or income replacement.
