ING Aims Disability Plan At Texas Teachers

ReliaStar Life Insurance Company has developed an income protection product designed specifically for Lone Star State educators.

The new ING Texas Educators Disability Plan gives participants the ability to choose monthly benefit payment amounts in $100 units, with a monthly maximum benefit of $7,500, according to ReliaStar, Minneapolis, a unit of ING Groep N.V., Amsterdam.

Other features include a choice of benefit waiting periods, a payroll deduction payment system, and a menu of additional benefits, including a medical treatment benefit, that employers can offer as standard features or as options.
