A bank software company has agreed to build another company’s health card payment system into its health savings account processing system.
Open Solutions Inc., Glastonbury, Conn., will be working with Evolution Benefits Inc., Avon, Conn., the companies say.
Open Solutions now well be able to market cards that draw from 2 or more different types of benefit accounts, and Evolution will be able to offer a broader array of HSA custodial services to employers’ benefit plan administrators, the companies say.
