Burns & McDonnell Engineering Company Inc. is buying more services from one of its retirement plan services providers.

Burns & McDonnell, Kansas City, Mo., an engineering, architectural and construction firm, has picked Principal Financial Group Inc., Des Moines, Iowa, to provide consolidated account reporting services and other services for its 401(k) plan and employee stock ownership plan.
