The President’s Advisory Council on Financial Literacy wants to hear what members of the public have to say about the state of financial knowledge in the United States.
The council, an agency at the U.S. Treasury Department, is asking for commenters’ thoughts about youth financial literacy, financial education in the workplace and financial access for underserved markets.
The council also is asking about any gaps that exist in financial literacy research and approaches for reaching out to people who are unfamiliar with the current array of financial education resources.
Comments are due May 23.
