The parent of Exante Financial Services has changed its name to OptumHealth Financial Services.

OptumHealth Financial, part of UnitedHealth Group Inc., Minnetonka, Minn., runs a bank that sells health savings accounts and other personal health accounts.

UnitedHealth has put the HSA banking unit under the control of OptumHealth, Golden Valley, Minn., a subsidiary that also runs a behavioral health division, a care management division and a specialty benefits division.

UnitedHealth is hoping OptumHealth will take steps to combine OptumHealth Financial incentive accounts with other OptumHealth health management programs, such as programs that help people stop smoking, UnitedHealth says.

OptumHealth Financial’s OptumHealth Bank now manages 1.5 million consumer health accounts and about $560 million in HSA assets, UnitedHealth says.

About 20 independent health plans and 20,000 employers are using the bank’s health account services, UnitedHealth reports.
