Calif. Blue Signs With On-Line Claims Service

Blue Shield of California has agreed with MD On-Line Inc., Parsippany, N.J., to offer health care providers free online claims processing.

The service will make it easier for physicians and other medical providers to do business with Blue Shield, San Francisco, by streamlining transaction processes, says the not-for-profit health plan.

MD On-Line says its claims portal does not require a contract or software.
